Clayton
Owner/Instructor/Trainer
Meet Clayton! A life-long athlete playing sports since the age of 5, he was a 3 sport Varsity athlete in high school and earned the leadership role of captain for Varsity soccer, where he helped to lead the team to a Conference Championship. At Curry College, Clayton played soccer where he was also the captain of the team. Off season during college, Clayton began boxing. As a collegiate athlete, he thought he was in the best shape of his life, and had no idea 3 minutes in the ring was so challenging. After graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice, Clayton joined the Army. He is now a Green Beret in the US Army Special Forces. He was recognized as the USO Soldier of the Year. He knows what it means to be a fighter and is committed to helping others reach their fullest potential. Clayton is a certified boxing coach and a certified Rock Steady Boxing coach.
“Boxing truly changed my life. It helped take my fitness to the next level, while being fun at the same time. I used boxing as the foundation for my training when preparing for the Special Forces. I participated in the same classes we offer here at Bare Bones today and it was crucial to my success in passing the assessment and selection process to become a Green Beret.”
